Airport and Travel:

To travel to Lake Country, you can fly into Kelowna International Airport (YLW). If you’d like to enjoy more of a road trip, Kelowna is a four and a half hour drive from Vancouver (YVR), and a seven-hour drive from Calgary (YYC).

For travel around the area, we recommend rental cars and taxis (although taxis are limited in lake country).

Accommodations:

We have outlined some of our favourite options on the Location page, but there are many more to choose from. We recommend staying closer to the venue (Predator Ridge or Sparkling Hill). There are also wonderful options in Kelowna if you’d like to explore the city more. Please remember that there will be shuttles available to you no matter which area you choose. The venue is a 40-minute drive from downtown Kelowna.

Please note*** Airbnb and VRBO will no longer be allowed in Lake Country or Kelowna by our wedding date.

Transportation /Shuttles:

For the wedding on Saturday, June 1st there will be transportation available from Predator Ridge/Sparking Hill area and Kelowna hotels to the venue, both to and from at varying times. Details on shuttles and timing to come. We highly recommend taking the shuttles, as the roads at night can be challenging and there is no dedicated parking at the venue. Please let us know if you have any specific needs/requests or require parking at the venue.

For welcome drinks on Friday, May 31st we will provide shuttle transportation upon departure at 9pm. We recommend Uber/taxi to arrive, and there will be parking available as well if you choose to drive.

Attire:

Formal, black tie encouraged. The ceremony will be outdoors weather permitting, and the cocktail hour will be as well. The reception will be indoors. There will be pavement or flooring always, so any shoes will be appropriate. Weather in Kelowna can be quite variable in June, so we recommend checking the weather before packing to make sure you have any extra layers OR clothes for warm weather as needed.
